Chris Finlay

Chris Finlay is Vice President of Innovation in SAIC’s Engineering Innovation Factory. He has been leading enterprise Digital Engineering Transformation efforts for the past 14 years, first at Raytheon and now at SAIC. Chris also has over 21+ years’ experience leading new weapon system and combat system product development. In his role as chief engineer for the MK57 Vertical Launching system, currently deployed on our Navy’s Zumwalt class destroyers, Chris and his team received the NDIA Ferguson Systems Engineering Team of the Year award for their innovative System Engineering process that included the first roll out of MBSE for new launcher designs. More recently, Chris’ Digital Engineering Ecosystem team won first prize in NIWC LANTS Digital Engineering challenge for their ReadyOne™ ecosystem solution.

In his free time (who has any of that?), Chris loves to play hockey and the piano … but not at the same time.
